At T&M Fuel, we know heating oil is expensive, and we know that some families may need assistance to afford their heating oil costs this winter.
Heating Assistance is available in our service areas through state programs in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Fuel oil assistance can be provided through either reimbursements or direct payments, dependent on your area.
In Massachusetts, you must be on one of a long list of public assistance programs, including Social Security, MassHealth, or SNAP. You can find the eligibility requirements here: https://www.mass.gov/service-details/learn-about-fuel-assistance
Massachusetts has a list of Community Action Partners who can help you to apply for fuel assistance.

In Rhode Island, you do NOT need to be on public assistance to receive heating oil assistance, but residents must meet low income guidelines. To find out if you meet Rhode Island's low income guidelines visit: http://www.dhs.ri.gov/Programs/LowIncomeGuidelines.php
If you qualify, you can work with a Community Action Agency in your city or town to apply.
